<b>Watch The Med Alarm Phone Investigations – 2nd of November 2020</b> <i>Case name</i>: 20201102-CM315 <i>Situation</i>: 87 people reached Lampedusa on their own <i>Status of WTM Investigation</i>: concluded <i>Place of Incident</i>: Central Mediterranean <i>Summary of the Case:</i> On 2nd of November 2020 at 19:12h CET the Alarm Phone got a direct call from a satellite phone. The 87 people on board of a black boat transferred a GPS position verbally. Those data was sent to the competent authorities at 19:38h. Alarm Phone published a tweet around 21h because this is the third boat the shift teams got alerted to. Several hours no contact to the travellers could be established, only on 3rd November at 03:57h the people on board transferred a new GPS position and the information that among the 87 persons were also 16 women and 3 children. Later an email was sent with the new position. Same happened on 04:35h, this was the last contact to the boat. At 14:12h the Alarm Phone got to know that the 87 people reached Lampedusa.
