<b>Watch The Med Alarm Phone Investigations – 4th February 2021</b> <i>Case name</i>: 2021_02_04-CM355 <i>Situation</i>: 100 people intercepted and returned by the so-called Libyan Coastguard <i>Status of WTM Investigation</i>: Concluded <i>Place of Incident</i>: Central Mediterranean <i>Summary of the Case:</i> We were contacted by a relative of somebody on board a boat in distress. They told us that there were about 100 people on board. They gave us a number for the satellite phone of the boat. We were not able to reach the boat nor were we able to establish a position. We later learned that the boat had been intercepted and the passengers forcibly returned to Libya. The travellers had been detained.
