The savings of Slovenians lying in banks went up by more than 10% last year, which is the biggest growth since 2008. Mutual funds also recorded a record year, but they are not playing the role they should at all, the newspaper Delo says in Wednesday's front-page commentary, calling for more options for people to invest their savings in.
