This International Women’s Day, we’re thinking about the women who are advancing gender equity across borders in different ways: organizing others in their workplace to demand equitable working conditions, taking legal action to hold their employers accountable for discrimination, and advocating for policies that reflect their voices.
Migrant worker women are fighting for an alternative labor migration model that prioritizes the rights of workers, families and communities — one that promotes gender equity.
