The right to work with dignity and respect is a fundamental human right. Now more than ever we must stand with migrant workers to ensure that they have the information and tools they need to protect their rights and stand up to abuse in the workplace.
CDM’s Migrant Defense Committee (Comité), a group of more than 100 migrant leaders and their families, has always been essential in this task. In November, the Comité held its XVI National Meeting in the city of Puebla in Mexico. It was exhilarating to see old and new friends renew their commitment to empower workers and advance migrant justice. Centro de los Derechos del Migrante is lucky to count on their energy and leadership. Here’s a peek at our time together.
